Mike Brown (down 52 lbs)

I started this Omaha Challenge with a view of I am ready to change my life for the better. I have tried so many times to lose weight and change my life for the better but have chronically failed in this endeavor. Since starting this challenge though I have seen success in leaps and bounds that I never would have thought possible without all of my outside motivation from friends and family. I have had a lot of external and internal success and feel that I have influenced people around me through my success and excitement. My internal changes have not only been emotional but physical. In October of 2014 I had my body fat percentage taken at work. At that time my body fat was 22 percent. I originally gained more weight after this body fat percentage was taken. Since beginning the challenge I have reduced my body fat percentage to 15 percent. There is a history of heart issues in my family and my wife and mother have always worried about my weight affecting my health. Since losing weight my family has felt better about this and my wife knows I will always be there for her and my son. Also internally my confidence has skyrocketed. Previously I would never dream of taking multiple pictures or standing in the front because of my stomach and multiple chins. I am now more than happy to be in pictures and partake in events. The number one thing this challenge has done for me is improve my confidence in all things that I do. My external changes seem to be drastic if I listen to what people say. I have heard time and again how good I look. I don’t notice the changes as much because I see me every day. I have heard while at work or visiting old friends about how I look so different. I spoke to one of my oldest friends on the phone recently and he stated that I needed to eat some fast food because he didn’t know what to do with a skinny me after seeing a photo on Facebook put up by Nutrishop. I am a police officer and have noticed I need new uniforms because mine are too large since getting in shape. All of these lead me to believe I have made exceptional external changes. If that’s the case then thank God I finally did something and thank you to everyone for all your help especially my wife and Nutrishop. The gift of health is something I am just finding myself and discovering I love it. Since I started this challenge I have actually gotten my parents, sister, and brother to join the same gym I belong to. I received a message from my brother in-law asking how I had lost all my weight and was more than willing to share all of success with him. I have begun to encourage people I see daily to come with me and workout and encouraged them to enjoy their workouts. I have posted multiple times on my Facebook page about my success and shared my tip that eating right which was given to me by Nick Boswell at Nutrishop is the first step to a healthy lifestyle. When asked I tell people this is a steady process of following a workout program, eating right and that I use Nutrishop for my supplemental help. In closing, this is the end of a great beginning to the rest of my life. I plan to continue to use Nutrishop for my supplemental goals. I appreciate all of the support I have received from my community, friends, family, Corey and Nick, and my lovely wife Jill. Thank you for the support from the start of this journey to today the end 50 pounds lighter and ready to go.
