Zac Spelic (down 55 lbs)

My energy level has never been as high as it is now, I have never looked as good as I look now, and I have never felt as good about myself as I do now. My diet will never be the same, and I will never go back to being as lazy as I used to be. When it comes to helping others with their health I will always be available for friends and family if they would like any advice or help but I also believe people are allowed to live how they want to live and I would never like to force my way of life on someone. Already I have been told by 4 different people that watching me go through my transformation has motivated them to make big changes in their life. I have been told by 3 different co-workers that they are working on cutting out sugar from their diet, another co-worker has started on a regular yoga program after I showed them a few programs and she has lost 20 lbs, and two of my personal friends have started doing my ab workout and yoga routine. I only hope to be a support system for people because I can assure everyone that I need them just as much as they need me. There were times when I was beginning to get tired but as soon as I heard my friend tell me that she is “jokingly” mad at me because she feels like she has to work out more because of how much I work out I kicked it up another gear and hit it harder. Before the challenge I would train at a kung fu gym in MMA-grappling and striking. After about two months of the challenge one of my good friends who actually does fight asked me to keep coming on a certain day so he could train with me because I offered a challenge. This made me feel awesome because I used to just show up and get beat up … which was still a good work-out but it feels good to put the hurt on someone. Overall I was never in a position to give anyone advice on health or fitness and I still would never initiate such a conversation but it feels really good to have people ask my advice based solely on the work I have done on myself. I hope I never come off as cocky with my success but I worked really hard, I would confidently put down money saying I worked as hard as I reasonably could have worked for this. It just feels amazing being able to say what you did while at the same time knowing it was effective. Going far into the future I know that if I ever get married and have a family my fitness and dietary goals will be a staple of our lifestyle. I may be purchasing a house in the near future and I look forward to turning half of the yard into a garden, chicken coup which will allow for me to eat even healthier and cheaper than I do now. I never want to impose my life-style on anyone but I would cherish the opportunity to be available for friends and family as a resource concerning health. In addition I plan on expanding my knowledge of nutrition for my own personal use. Thank you so much for the opportunity to work on myself. I know I never would have done what I accomplished if I wasn’t initially motivated by the challenge. It is over now but I am only going to work harder. I couldn’t have done it without all your great staff!
